A fundamental principle of deliverance is found in Matthew 9:17: "Neither is new wine put into old wineskins. If it is, the skins burst and the wine is spilled. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved." - EGV
As you begin your deliverance journey, you are the vessel God is preparing for a new outpouring; the "new wine." To contain this fresh anointing and purpose, you must become a "new wineskin." If we try to receive God's new blessings into old, unchanged vessels, we risk contaminating the new thing He is doing.
So, how do we cultivate a new wineskin? God has uniquely fashioned each of us in the palm of His hand. He has ordained a distinct path for every individual and entrusted us with a vessel designed to hold specific treasures. Only He can reveal the purpose He has woven into our very being.
